Fighting the creator's block
Surely it has happened to you, let's delve into what it is and how to overcome it
Have you felt at any point that you ran out of ideas? Well, welcome to the creative block, you are going through a moment in which it is very difficult for you to restore your creativity and create content. The funny thing about this topic is that this week this happened to me, I didn't know what to write about, I was looking for inspiration and my mind was blank, nothing came to me. But talking to my wife, she gave me the best idea, she said why don't you just write about that? I am very grateful to her for freeing me from the blockage and giving me such a valuable idea.
Now, you may wonder, what is this blockade about? Why does it happen to me? calm down, this happens to musicians, writers, photographers, painters and anyone who does creative work, and it really is a normal process, your brain is very wise, it takes time to rest, to think and to resolve the situation. That is why it is very important to take a break from time to time, being saturated with information and things to do will only overload you, which is not good if you want to continue creating, so take this into account and try to give a break to your mind.
Perhaps you have felt various types of blocks, because it is not only that ideas do not come to your mind, you should also try to understand why it happened to you, what the reasons that led you to this were. There are certain very notable blockages, let's see them:
The first one is the mental block, which is when you lock yourself in your thoughts, you don't see beyond what your perspective perceives. This limits you and makes other options not viable for you. So that this does not happen, stop what you are doing and go do something else (read, sleep, walk), even talk to people so that they offer you different opinions and so you can expand your thoughts.
We could also talk about the habits you have to work, since they greatly influence your performance. Perhaps the hours that you choose are not ideal for you, or that you work for a long time without giving your mind time to rest, or even you overworked yourself and agreed to do more than you can cover. All this is extremely important because it shows that you must organize yourself; and make your day worthwhile and enough to do everything you set your mind to. By having your day organized you will have your mind organized and ideas will flow.
There is something we cannot escape from and those are personal problems. You fought with your wife, you are fighting an addiction, your car broke down, you feel sick, among many other things that can happen to us. This generates distrust in yourself, your spirits drop to the floor and you feel helpless. These are definitely moments that do not allow us to concentrate and although we can face it, sometimes we have to stop and seek help from friends and relatives, letting off steam are good medicine.
Blockages are very common to also occur in a team, tensions are often generated that complicate doing a better job, therefore emotional maturity plays a relevant role since it helps you adapt to the environment, in turn if you are the boss you should know that communication skills will be your ally to get out of the obstacle by creating open, effective and clear communications between people.
As you can see, learning to differentiate what type of block you have will also help you understand what you must do to overcome it. One of the funniest and most effective solutions is to use brainstorming, let your ideas rain by ignoring all the limitations you may have. This technique will definitely help you to break with the creative block that has been generated.
There are even those who take it more calmly and let ideas come their way and in their time, allowing creativity to flow spontaneously, because sometimes obsessing over perfection can become the trigger for your blockage, and I'm not saying that you donβt fix a few bugs if any, but needing to be perfect could trap you in an endless loop.
We cannot ignore the connection between the comfort zone and the creator's block, because although getting out of it can be scary, it is a necessary step to increase self-confidence and discover new opportunities and also new creative ways and inspiration than before they were not obvious.
So, if you are one of those who procrastinate, don't do it anymore, there are several solutions that can help you scare away the ghosts of the blockade and that you can continue creating the content that you like the most. Tell me in the comments if it has happened to you and share your story of improvement?

Love it man! It was such a relaxing and pleasing read.
The main thing that I do to prevent blocks when writing for example, is I stop trying to write.
I focus more on my state of mind and spirit, I consume quality content (music, podcasts, books) and the ideas just flow.
been there, not always easy to come out... Will try a brainstorming as you recommended next time
